Promarker Challenge 53

Wow, you should see the prizes over at the Passion for Promarkers blog this week! I just couldnt resist entering!

I hope you like my entry - I had been struggling to find a use for these aperture cards for ages, but I found that my promarkers worked really well to decorate the outer frame and give them a whole new look!

Cupcakes!

Did I fool you? These cupcakes are NOT for eating (sadly, as they are making my mouth water!), they are bath melts!

I had a very messy but fun afternoon making them, and tried one in the bath just now - and it worked like a dream!

N is for . . .NEW

I felt like doing a couple of challenges to get my mojo going, so I created this card for the ABC Challenge.

I used my lovely new Doodlecharms cricut cartridge to cut the cupcake, then added the ribbons and stickles to brighten it up!

Life Is Like A Box Of Chocolates!

I had a flash of inspiration when I made this card for the Cute Card Thursday challenge:

I cut some squares and circles with my slice machine, then cut the squiggles on top by hand and mounted them on foam pads in a "chocolate box" made from brown card and cadbury's purple tissue paper. Yummy!

Hand-Drawn Eeyore Card

It is ages since I did any challenges, but I was inspired by the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge this week, so here is my entry:

I drew the Eeyore by hand (I had a lot of time on my hands lol!) and coloured him with prisma pencils and sansodor.

I didnt have any paper that did him justice so I cut strips of pastel paper and made my own zig-zag stripey background.

I love eeyore! And its good to see him looking happy for a change!

"Summer Meadow" Mosaic Table

This flowery garden bistro set is quite different to the others I have made up until now, it is more of a scene rather than a random pattern. Im not sure if I like it really, but it was nice to make.

My inspiration was a painting of a flower filled meadow I saw in a magazine, I loved the colours especially the pinks and greens together.

I've used quite a few gorgeous little jewel-like crystal tiles as flowers in the grass, and the foxgloves and part of the butterfly and bee are made using gold-veined tiles for a bit of sophisticated sparkle
